Zap Restorer

A customer of Zap Restorer writes that when the cleaner is left on fixtures for too long, they turn brownish, something they did, too. But the reviewer adds that really like it for tile and found nothing to compare with it.
Another reviewer Justin Brimfield writes that he has hard water, which develops a calcium ring in the toilet every 3-4 months and nothing else works on it like Zap. He empties the bowl, sprays Zap and after 5 minutes scrubs with a scrubbing pad. Even though it takes 3-4 attempts for the ring to vanish completely, nothing else works as well as Zap, which is also great on rust stains. Reviewer Rumsfeld used Zap tile cleaner on his stainless steel kitchen sink but black spots have appeared.
Another customer Paula McMiller says that it does not work at all and didn’t remove the grout between the tiles in the shower. She adds that it will clean the dirty surface that soap and water will clean without the smell. Unlike the claims that it’s not sold in stores, she bought it at Walgreens for $9.99 and not the $19.95, which is the online price. Paula doesn’t recommend the product.
One user Romy says that it didn’t help on their tile. There was moisture on the bottles when he opened the box and the seal inside the first bottle was loose. After taking off the bottle cap and screwing the sprayer on the bottle, it didn’t work but the flip up nozzle did. In spite of following the directions and using it full strength on grout, letting it sit, and scrubbing, it did nothing.
For Cassandra it is too expensive and unsatisfactory. Its sprayer did not work and she had to replace the sprayer. She tried it on copper pans but did not work till it had set. Then she had to scrub with pads, which gave unsatisfactory result. Trying it on stained bathtub also gave poor results and did not work for what she needed.

One reviewer of Zep Enforcer, Sarah Jordan, says that it’s very effective in removing soap residue and water stains in the shower and calcium and lime stains above the water line in the toilet bowl. It needed minimum elbow grease to remove soap scum. One must use gloves with the cleaner as it is acidic and it should not be used on no-wax flooring or flooring of other finishing. It can be used on tile, fiberglass showers and tubs, and glass. The cleaner should not be left overnight on glass or on fiberglass and may etch porcelain finish on toilets. Another reviewer Bonnie writes that it is very potent and stinks and one must wear gloves as it irritated her skin when water hit it. She writes that she hasn’t seen much difference between Zep Enforcer and other cleaners.

EZ Zap

It will clean stained kitchen linoleum tile, though it may take many thorough cleanings on old stains. A user must try it on a discreet spot first to make sure that such a tough cleaning works without discoloring the surface. It’s not a restorer but an eco-friendly cleaner.
