Vitamix 5300 and Vitamix 5200 are less advanced C-Series Blenders (Released in 2007) while the Vitamix 7500 is a G-Series (Released in 2012) Next Generation Blender. The 5200 and 5300 are almost similar with some minor differences. The main difference between 5200/5300 and 7500 is the Motor Base, the Vitamix 7500 claims to feature 40% quieter motor, while the Vitamix 5300 and 5200 does not have this advanced noise dampening feature in the motor base. The 5200 and 5300 still have a older CLASSIC MOTOR and CLASSIC MOTOR-BASE. The 7500 has a better airflow which means lesser OVERHEATING.

There is not much difference between the Vitamix 5200 and 5300, the only difference is the absence of HI/LOW switch on the 5300 which is replaced by a pulse switch. The 5300 model has a sleeker 64 oz. pitcher and has a slightly higher Horse Power.

  1. What if you have an old Vitamix 3600 which still works great but needs a new seal around the lid, can I buy a replacement?
