Doesn’t live up to the expectations – Sheryl who used Power Floss complained in her reviews that though it works okay it doesn’t live up to the hype that has been built around it. To begin with, it is very difficult to set up because it has to be primed in water. You then have to fill it with water and then pump it a few times to get it work. That is not at all convenient like you are told in the infomercial. The button is also a bit jerky and doesn’t always work, which is annoying. According to her it doesn’t replace regular flossing at all but it can have it advantages in cases when you have food stuck in your braces or any kind of dental work. That’s because it actually generates decent pressure to remove debris from the teeth. Another problem with it is that it leaks if you don’t store it in an upright position. All in all she thinks that it was not worth the price she paid for it at all.

Has advantages and limitations – Aaron who bought Power Floss revealed in his review that of course he found some users for this water flosser, especially when it came to getting rid of food particles around the dental work he had got done. It’s a disaster – Alexei who used Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser WP-440W complained in his review that he had big hopes from this water flosser but it left him completely disappointed. He has used the traditional electric models from the company and they have worked well but this one just doesn’t have enough pressure. Those traditional models were really powerful but this cordless option is seriously lacking in power. It would barely be able to remove surface level dirt from his teeth. Another problem with the flosser for him was that the water tank can only hold about enough water for 45 seconds of use. It means you have to make around 6 refills to get the job done. He wasn’t too happy with the toothbrush as well because it pulsates instead of rotating. He now feels that he made a mistake by buying this water flosser and should have stuck to the original options he had lying around in his bathroom.

False marketing – Cassandra who bought Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser WP-440W exposed in her review that she was livid when she found out that the model doesn’t come with a periodontal attachment for deep cleaning below the gumline like it is claimed in the infomercial. When she got in touch with the customer service of the company she was told that this model is not meant for deep cleaning because the water pressure is too high. She was shocked that they were so callous in their approach and decided to return the product.

It worked well for about a few months and then it just wouldn’t charge, no matter how hard he tried. He also expected better cleaning results from a flosser that is supposedly recommended by the professionals. But honestly he thought the results were just average.

However she was satisfied with the overall performance of the flosser, which cleaned her gums to a large extent. She just wishes that the makers had paid attention to the few design issues that start grating on your nerves after a while.
