Salt Pods are essential – Alicia who used Navage complained in her review that you can only use it with the specified Salt Pods. While the information is available on the company’s website, it is not clearly mentioned. She noticed that the machine just wouldn’t work without these salt pods being placed. Soon enough she realized that it had worked out to be a more expensive proposition than she had bargained for. She just wishes that she was aware of this information at the onset to make the best decision.

Works but not perfect – Ted who bought Navage exposed in his review that though it works fairly well there are some serious limitations with it. Right at the onset he followed the instructions but the liquid didn’t come out of the nostril and went right into his throat. It was quite annoying, and then he noticed that the reservoir at the bottom remained empty. He also had serious issues while measuring out the salt pods because they came in liquid form. Since the device has to be used twice daily, it was going to be quite expensive. So he called the customer service to return the product and they offered him another one with higher suction, free of cost. Sadly that didn’t do the trick either. Finally he was asked to try the nasal pillow to get the results he was expecting and that did work like a charm. However he is disappointed that he had to jump through the hoops to get the results after spending substantial amounts on it.

More expensive than you think – Annie who reviewed Navage revealed in her review that she has used several such treatments in the past and they work okay. This one promises to deliver a lot more, but the results are just about on par with other treatments. However you are charged a lot more than the regular options. The costs multiply quickly because you have to use salt pods from the company, which are not reasonable at all. And since they have to be used twice daily, you are looking at huge costs for marginally better results.

Works, but could have been better – Alexis who used Neilmed Neti Pot revealed in his review that he has come to rely on saline cleansing whenever he is struggling with cold or feels congested. He also recommends that everyone should have their own device because it’s used as a sinus cleaner. He moved to this pot because it is made out of plastic and easier to hold than heavy ceramic pots. While he thinks that it works well, the performance could have been a lot better, according to him. For starters, it drops a lot and he preferred the functioning of the plastic bottle, which would get in there and offer better cleaning results. He wishes they had made some modifications to the design so that it wouldn’t make a mess like it tends to do. However he is very impressed with the saline solution, which is ultra pure and can be used safely by practically everyone.

Has its limitations – Mia who bought Neilmed Neti Pot complained in her review that it pretty much works like the advertisements but there are certain limitations. For example, she had trouble figuring out how to use it because the guide is written in a very small print that is difficult to read. If you are in a rush to use it then you are only going to end up making a mess. You also can’t figure out that the pot should be filled with 250 ml or 125 ml of water. This instruction is completely lost and that can lead to disastrous results. On the whole though, she thinks it is a good product that could have done with some thought while putting up the instructions.

It has design flaws – Helena who reviewed Neilmed Neti Pot exposed in her review that there are serious design flaws with the pot. One of the biggest issues is that the top doesn’t screw on securely. It means that when you dissolve the package in water in the pot, there will be certain amount of leakage. She believes the lightweight plastic body is easier to hold than the ceramic pots. But she had high hopes from this pot and it didn’t live up to them for her. She suggests going through YouTube videos and other information before using it first time.
