Compare Reviews: Conair i-Stubble vs Super Stubble vs Norelco Perfect Stubble vs Babyliss i-Stubble

Conair i-Stubble REVIEW

Gives expected results – Craig who used Conair i-Stubble revealed in his reviews that if you don’t have any big expectations from it then you won’t be disappointed because it works fairly well. He was impressed by the fact that it is fast and cuts precisely. He was also happy with the adjustment method and he didn’t have to struggle with different size clippers. The backlight worked well and the battery runs for a decent amount of time too. But his problem was with the spacer, which is sharp on ends and that meant every time he wanted to trim his mustache it pricked on the inside of the nose. He thinks it’s a design issue that the spacer is about ½ inch ahead of the cutter.

It works but with some limitations – Rihad who reviewed Conair i-Stubble complained in his review that there are serious limitations with this trimmer although it isn’t completely useless. According to him it doesn’t give you an even shave and the battery life started deteriorating after few months of use. He couldn’t use it while plugged in immediately because it took a while to charge.

Not worth the price – Kyle who bought Conair i-Stubble exposed in his review that the battery lasts for only 45 minutes and takes 3 hours to charge, which is not what it claims. He couldn’t use it on his moustache because of the big head. You also have to keep checking the length every time you turn off. He was also disappointed that it isn’t waterproof, and didn’t think it was worth its price.

BaByliss Super Stubble REVIEW

Doesn’t cut evenly – Eric who reviewed BaByliss Super Stubble complained in his review that the trimmer doesn’t cut smoothly and left his stubble looking patchy. He often ended up having to take his stubble down completely. Even when he tried to get the 5mm stubble it turned out patchy. He also found it tricky to maneuver and just wasn’t happy with overall performance, which is why he has stopped using it completely.

Fairly decent trimmer – Kevin who used BaByliss Super Stubble revealed in his review that it is quite well made and gives okay results. Though he struggled with getting a good finish at about 2 mm, overall he found it to be an efficient trimmer. Using it was a bit tricky because he had to fuss about getting the right angle every single time. He was also happy with the grading for stubble lengths and thinks it’s perfect for men who like to have designer beards. He appreciated the charging stand, which kept it in place. The charging itself was pretty quick, according to him.

Cool features but not very effective – Pavel who reviewed BaByliss Super Stubble exposed in his review that the trimmer is smartly designed and has all the add-ons like the stand for charging and the display to tell you remaining charge. But the problem with is that it just doesn’t trim as effectively as he had hoped. He had to go over the same parts again and again, which got a lot worse as he went to higher settings. He recommends not pressing it against the face with force as the guard gets pushed closer to the blade and cut a closer trim than needed.

Norelco Stubble Trimmer Pro REVIEW

Not long lasting – Stefan who bought Norelco Stubble Trimmer Pro complained in his review that though it worked well initially it stopped holding charge after using it for a few months. He thinks its performance is better than some of the trimmers he has used but recommends using it without the comb for better results. However in that case you have to be careful using it close to your lips. He liked the fact that you could use the trimmer while it recharges but doesn’t think it has any major applications besides using it to clean up hairline on the side of the neck and haircut touch-ups.

Not powerful enough – Sven who reviewed Norelco Stubble Trimmer Pro revealed in his review that this trimmer is definitely not meant for beginners who want to get subtle trimming of beard. It just feels like a poorly made trimmer that is too heavy and practically useless on beards. He doesn’t think it is the right option for trimming a beard or as replacement for shaving. He feels, you can use it for doing your sideburns though.

Design issues – Callum who used Norelco Stubble Trimmer Pro exposed in his review that though the trimmer has a good grip there are design problems like the comb, which is awful. Also since there is no guard on the side you have to hold the razor perpendicular to your face, which makes it impossible to use for shorter comb settings.
