Compare Pros and Cons: Blu Breeze vs Arctic Air Pro Deluxe vs Atomic Cool vs HoMedics My Chill
Blu Breeze Pros
Shelly Santiago says- “Works great! Blows cold air!”
Blu Breeze Cons
Lynda Mckinney complains saying — “Worthless as an Air Conditioner. It cools the air going through it maybe by a fraction of a degree. It’s made of cheap plastic, it makes an annoying whining sound on low speed, and on high speed it reminds me of the sound of my computer from 1999. It also includes a cable too short to get from a desk to the floor. For the price, I’m better off just buying a quality fan (it’ll be quieter and work better anyway).
Jason Todd writes- “Worked on level surface but if you move it water will pour out. It is also noisy on low and hi speeds and is made cheaply.”

Arctic Air Pro Deluxe Pros
Jacob Weaver says that the cooler works even better than he had hoped. He keeps it on his table while he works and it keeps him feeling refreshed and cool. He further adds that it’s easy to use and the night light is an added bonus.
Carolyn Clark writes- “The cooler really works! I fill it with cool water and place it on my night table. It emits a cool breeze (not hot air like a fan). I am now considering getting a few more!”
Mark Figueroa states- “I have purchased 2 of these wonderful little coolers. Keep it at arm’s length and the cool air is so refreshing”.
Arctic Air Pro Deluxe Cons
Shelly Lewis says that the cooler is worthless. There is nothing Arctic about this fan. You can only feel it about 2 feet away.
Willard Soto mentions that the cooler didn’t cool very much. It makes too much noise, also, for a small item.

Atomic Cool Pros
April Moore says- “I placed the unit on my nightstand, and there have been a few warm nights since i bought it. I’m very pleased with it so far, have nothing negative to report. The moisture feature runs a lot longer than advertised, but that could change when temps hit 100!”
Tina Green writes- “I have a windowed 360 room we built on our house. In summer its 100 degrees, so putting the overhead fan or opening the windows makes no difference. This little unit really surprised me. I put it by my chair and put the fan on high and it makes the area around me about 20 degrees cooler in just a couple minutes.
Atomic Cool Cons
Ben Wagner complains- “It never blew cool air even with ice cubes added. Even with the fan setting on high, the air flow is very faint. A small cheap desk fan on a low setting has a more powerful flow of air. Lastly, the return policy is not a free return. The cheapest to return it is about $7 and change auto deducted from your refund amount”.
Penny White says- “The air is fairly cool even with ice cubes in the water. The airflow on high is next to nothing and if you want to use this for a bedside table your face will literally have to be less than 6 inches away. After a few days the misting feature barely works. Complete waste of money”.

HoMedics My Chill Pros
Greg Sims writes- “This cooler does give off a very cool mist, but as stated it’s only effective within 4 feet. Even if you fill it according to instructions, if you’re running it on high, the water reservoir only lasts about 2-3 hours. I guess it’s according to the humidity in the air of where you live. I live in a very arid area. Nonetheless, it is a good product to keep by your bedside”.
Pearl Kelley says- “I purchased this for our computer room as our rigs produce a lot of heat and the room is a good 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. It works great for me as I have it sitting on a bookshelf about two feet away and pointed directly at me. It should be used like a fan instead of thinking it will cool a room. It’s a very “personal” size A/C”.
HoMedics MyChill Cons
Julie Reeves states that the water lasts only a few hours if it’s on the lowest setting and on the second setting it lasts only an hour or so. Also, the water is in the bottom compartment and if you try and move it the water can slosh out and spill.
Herman Lowe says that the unit has a small cooling area, tank needs filling often and the cooling power is minimal.
